Blackheath Fireworks returns on 7 November from £5

Blackheath Fireworks returns to Blackheath Common on Saturday 7 November, with five hours of fireworks, music, comedy, rides and food planned for families and the wider public. The event runs from 5pm to 10pm, and tickets are now on sale from £5 for children under 10.

Lewisham Council says 40,000 people are expected at the southeast London Bonfire Night celebration. Organiser Slammin Events has expanded the festival site following the event’s sold-out return in 2025, adding more entertainment, food outlets and rides.

Ticket prices and booking details

Adult tickets start at £16, while admission begins at £10 for children aged 11 to 15 and £5 for those under 10. Family tickets are available, including options intended for single-parent families.

Tickets must be bought through the Blackheath Fireworks 2026 website. Organisers are encouraging visitors to book early because the previous event sold out within weeks.

A separate allocation is being reserved for local families on low incomes. Eligibility and access details for those tickets have not yet been released, with further information due later.

Garage stars, comedy and live electrical arcs

The fireworks display anchors a programme spread across the festival site. DJ Luck & MC Neat and Brandon Block will perform in the Big Top, adding UK Garage and club music to the evening’s line-up.

Massaoke is also returning after appearing at the 2025 event. The audience-led show will be joined by Lords of Lightning, whose performance uses electrical arcs, while the Big Belly Comedy Club will host a programme of comedians.

The fairground will combine younger children’s rides with larger attractions for visitors seeking something faster. Food and drink will be served through an expanded Street Food Village, supported by more local vendors and additional bars offering drinks including mulled wine and hot chocolate.

The People’s Stage puts Lewisham talent on the bill

A new People’s Stage will give local performers, musicians, dancers, artists, community groups and organisations a place within the festival programme. It is being introduced ahead of the planned return of People’s Day in 2027.

Councillor Rotimi Skyers, Lewisham’s Cabinet Member for Children, SEND, Youth Empowerment and Culture, said the stage is intended to showcase the creativity and diversity of the borough while bringing communities together. Opportunities for residents and local groups to take part are expected to be announced as preparations continue.

Three entrances will serve the expanded site

Visitors will be able to enter through Blackheath Gate, Lewisham Gate or Greenwich Gate. The three-entry arrangement accompanies the larger festival footprint and is intended to accommodate the increased attendance expected in 2026.
