Free Carlisle School Road Safety Workshops this autumn

Parking, congestion, speeding traffic and difficult crossings are among the school-gate concerns Cumberland education leaders can raise at two free workshops in Carlisle. The School Road Safety Workshops will be held in the Cathedral Room at the Civic Centre on Tuesday 29 September and Friday 9 October 2026, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

She urged schools interested in improvements at their sites to send a representative who can discuss the problems and possible responses with the team.
