Pakistan ODI tri-series: Rawalpindi to Lahore, 18-31 October

Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England will contest an ODI tri-series in Pakistan from Sunday, 18 October to Saturday, 31 October 2026. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host the first three matches, while the tournament will then move to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore for three return fixtures and the final.

The series is for supporters of all three national teams, with the Pakistan Cricket Board listed as organiser. Ticket prices, booking arrangements, match times, transport information and accessibility guidance have not yet been published, so spectators can select a fixture and city but cannot complete their attendance plans from the announcement alone. The schedule was published by England and Wales Cricket Board News.

Three matches in each host city

Pakistan and Sri Lanka open the series in Rawalpindi on 18 October. Pakistan face England two days later, before Sri Lanka and England complete the Rawalpindi programme on 22 October. Each team therefore plays once at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The same three pairings will be staged again after the teams move to Lahore. Pakistan and England begin the Gaddafi Stadium leg on 25 October, followed by Pakistan against Sri Lanka on 27 October and Sri Lanka against England on 29 October.

Complete 2026 ODI tri-series schedule

Date Fixture and venue

Thursday, 22 October Sri Lanka v England — Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi

Tuesday, 27 October Pakistan v Sri Lanka — Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Thursday, 29 October Sri Lanka v England — Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Saturday, 31 October Tri-series final — Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

The six scheduled matches give every pairing one meeting in Rawalpindi and another in Lahore. The top two sides after those fixtures will advance to the final, so the finalists are not confirmed in advance.

Choosing a fixture before sales details arrive

Supporters wanting to see a particular team can already identify four possible round-robin dates for each side across the two cities. Those considering the final can confirm its date and Lahore venue, but the participating teams will depend on the preceding six ODIs.

Because no sales channel or entry procedure is included in the source announcement, the practical next step is to wait for official ticketing and match-day information before treating attendance as booked. The only confirmed planning details at this stage are the dates, fixtures, host cities and stadiums listed above.
